Abstract

1369796 Doors and windows ANTHONY'S MFG CO Inc 13 Dec 1971 [14 Dec 1970] 57829/71 Heading E1J A door assembly, e.g. for a refrigerator, comprises a mounting frame having electrical outlets on side members 23, 26, 27, 28, 22, and a door 13, 12, 11, 10 hingeable to the frame at either side of the door opening and having an electrical inlet connectable to one of the outlets. The door is double glazed and has a conductive layer on the glass and heating elements in the frame. The door frame also has a pair of apertures (60, Fig. 8, not shown) at one side for hinge pins, and the mounting frame has a pair of apertures for hinge pins at both sides so that the door can be hung at the desired side. A plug on the door frame connects with a socket on the mounting frame at the hinged side. Seals 35 are provided, and a door stop arm (47, Fig. 4).
