Abstract
1354378 Valves ORSZAGOS KOOLAJ ES GAZIPARI TROSZT GAZTECHNIKAI KUTATO ES VIZSGALO ALLOMAS 7 May 1971 [7 May 1970] 13816/71 Heading F2V In a valve adapted to be opened manually and closed automatically upon interruption of an electric current, when stem 7 is manually depressed against spring 11 into contact with stem 6, energization of coil 5 provides sufficient magnetic attraction between the two stems to cause stem 6 to follow stem 7 when the latter is returned by the spring, thereby unseating selfaligning closure member 2. De-energization of the coil allows the stem 6 to drop and reseat the closure member. Energization of the coil with stem 7 raised is unable to cause unseating of the closure member.
