Abstract

1353313 Track switch actuator H-G FROMME 15 Feb 1973 [7 March 1972] 7514/73 Heading B7H In a floor conveyer system in which a track switch 5 is actuated to divert a vehicle 1 from a main track to a branch track when a pivotable lever 8 is engaged by an address pin 2 mounted on the vehicle, each lever 8 is mounted between two halves 9 of a protective cap which is depressible below the floor surface against a resilient restoring force when the cap is, e.g. inadvertently engaged by a vehicle wheel. The two halves of the cap are mounted in a cylindrical sleeve 17 and are integral with a hollow substantially airtight body 15 having resilient walls.
