Abstract

1341395 Spectacles D A G MARSHALL 10 Sept 1971 [11 Sept 1970] 43623/70 Heading G2J [Also in Division A5] An assembly comprises a spectacle frame, or an attachment for a spectacle frame, having one or more air passages formed in the frame or attachment and in side-arms extending over the ears, and a portable source of filtered air under pressure connected to the passage or passages so that filtered air can be delivered through the passage or passages to produce a moving stream of air adjacent the eyes and nose of the wearer. As shown, passages 28 pass through side arms 26, hinge and into the frame, with spaced outlets 14 formed in the passage. In Fig. 2 (not shown) an attachment which hooks on to the frame is generally formed to fit around the bottom of the frame. The air may be supplied from a batterydriven fan which sucks air through a filter.
