1335944 Sulphonyl-ureas CHINOIN GYOGYSZER - ES VEGYESZETI TERMEKEK GYARA RT 8 May 1972 [6 May 1971(2)] 21416/72 Heading C2C The invention comprises a process for making therapeutic compounds (I) by reacting compounds (II) with compounds (III) in the presence of a tertiary amine and optionally removing the formyl group (X is H or formyl; the formyl compounds I are novel) by hydrolysis (R 1 and R 2 are H, halogen, alkyl, acylamino, alkoxy, NO 2 or amino; R 3 is alkyl, cycloalkyl or aralkyl, optionally substituted by halogen, alkyl or alkoxy; n is 0 to 3).
