1334293 Feeding and discharging materials SIMON-CARVES Ltd 1 Aug 1972 [7 Aug 1971] 37200/71 Headings B8A and B8S A dust valve comprises a chamber having inlet 15 and outlet 16 openings in its upper 11 and lower 11a walls respectively, each opening having a closure member 17, 18 which pivots from a horizontal closed position to a vertical open position, each closure member being fully closed before the opening movement of the other closure member begins, each closure member having on its upper face a depressed portion 20, 21 which extends beyond the boundaries of its associated opening when the member is in its closed position.
