1333448 Electro-deposition of black electroplate ENEQUIST CHEMICAL CO Inc 2 Nov 1971 [23 Nov 1970] 50934/71 Heading C7B An aqueous, alkaline electrolyte contains nickel and zinc ions and polyethyleneimine, and is suitable for electro-depositing a black electroplate. The nickel and/or zinc may be present as the sulphate, chloride, acetate, carbonate or hydroxide; and sodium or potassium hydroxide may be used to regulate the pH. The workpiece to be coated may be of brass and the counterelectrode of stainless steel.
