1320435 Universal joints RIV-SKF OFFICINE DI VILLAR PEROSA SpA. 16 Sept 1971 [27 Oct 1970] 43234/71 Heading F2U A universal joint comprises two C-shaped members 4, 5, each connected to a shaft 2, 3, and having a sliding-fit part-spherical interface with the other member, the inner member 4 having a diametrically opposite pair of projecting pins 8 engaging slots 9 in the other member 5, the centre lines of the slots 9 being in a plane containing the axis of the shaft 3.
