Abstract

1318638 Lamp reflectors E HALONEN 30 June 1970 [30 June 1969] 31657/70 Heading F4R A reflector comprising a first segmentalspherical portion 2 and a second segmentalparaboloidal portion 3 is detachably secured to the glass envelope of an electric lamp bulb by means of one or more springs 6 each of which bears against the envelope and passes behind a tongue 4 sheared and pressed from the reflector surface. The spring is held in position relative to the reflector by means of a head 7 of epoxy resin or tin. The tongue may be pressed inwardly or outwardly from either portion of the reflector, a hole 5 for the passage of the spring being formed at the junction of the two portions when the tongue is outwardly directed. The reflector is made from anodized aluminium having a thickness of 0À2-0À8 mm. and may be coloured.
