1317335 Driving steerable wheels SOC ANON AUTOMOBILES CITROEN 7 Aug 1970 [7 Aug 1969] 38274/70 Heading B7H The hub 1 of the driven wheel of an automobile vehicle is mounted to rotate in a collar 2 which is connected to the structure of the vehicle by two ball-and-socket joints 4, the hub forming one member of a universal joint connected to a drive shaft 10 and a disc 13 of a braking member is connected to or integral with the hub on that face opposite the wheel mounting face. A flexible protective sleeve 15 is secured to the hub 1 and mounted to rotate on the drive shaft 10.
