1316152 Seaming non-metallic sheet material KOEHRING CO 1 June 1970 [5 June 1969] 24137/72 Divided out of 1316151 Heading B5K The subject-matter is identical to that disclosed in Specifications 1,316,153 and 1,316,151 but the claims relate to friction welding apparatus having pairs of vertically aligned upper and lower part holders on a rotatable carrier means, support means at a loading station adjacent the path of movement having a portion extending generally along a portion of the orbital path of the holders for supporting parts, means for transferring parts, one behind the other, to the support means, and positioning finger means (55), Fig. 3 (not shown), orbiting with each lower holder which receives a part from the support means engaging a part on the support means and moving it along the support means into the orbital path of the holder and to a position of substantially axial alignment therewith.
