Abstract

1304414 Pivot WALL & LEIGH THERMOPLASTICS Ltd 10 June 1971 [26 March 1970] 14701/70 Heading E2F A frictional pivot device for a sun visor comprises a first member 10, a second member 12 which has a snap-fit engagement with the first member and a spigot 11. The second member 12 consists of a tube 16 having a gap 21 adjacent which is a flange 17 which engages with slot 15 on the sun visor 10. The second member is preferably made of resilient material such as polyacetal resin. When engaged with the visor 10 the tube 16 of member 12 encloses the spigot 11 in a frictional grip to prevent relative rotation of the sun visor and spigot 11.
