Abstract

1303420 Transferring dough lumps between conveyers MACHINENFABRIEK W VAN DIJK NV 19 April 1971 [26 Feb 1970] 22430/71 Heading B8A Articles, e.g. lumps of dough being fed in a single stream at 1 successively engage a member 14, 15. This is pivoted about an axis 6 and is connected under the conveyer to a plate 9. The latter pivotally (at 11) carries a member 16 which is centred at its opposite end by springs 17, 17. When the member 14, 15 is in the position shown, the loading article engages its portion 15 and in so doing, urges the member 16 against a switch 21. This energizes a motor 26 which causes the member 14, 15, to be swung into a position in which it deflects the articleinto a conveyer channel 3, and then reaches a pcsition of equilibrium in which the next oncoming article engages the portion 14 when the latter action occurs, the member 16 is pushed against a switch 28. This causes the motor 26 to return the member 14, 15, to its previous position and so on. Instead of switches energizing a fluid motor, valves &c. may be used to control solenoids &c.
