Abstract

1303003 Trolley hanger WHITE MACHINE CO 5 Feb 1971 4046/71 Heading B7L In a trolley hanger assembly comprising a trolley 1 and a rail 2, to compensate for unevenness and curvature of the cylindrical overhead trolley rail 2 two arms 3, 4 of the trolley 1 supported by the rail are respectively pivotally mounted to carriages having housings 6, 7 and rollers 8, 9 by means of pins 17, 18, and are linked to a carrying rod 5 by means of pins 10, 11 so that the carriages are pivotable about an axis which is above the trolley rail and parallel to the axes of rotation of the rollers, and the rod 5 is pivotable about an axis perpendicular to the axes of rotation of the rollers and the length of the rail. Each carriage contacts the rail 2 by means of the pairs of rollers 8, 9. The rod 5 is tubular with its ends flattened and rolled to form bearings 29, 30 in which the pins 10, 11 are located. Each housing has a protection shield 26, 27 and each arm has a raised portion 24, 25 to limit rotation of the carriages.
