1301200 Spacers for reinforcing rods KUNSTSTOFFENINDUSTRIE ATTEMA NV 26 March 1970 14997/70 Heading E1W An integral plastics spacer for rods in reinforced concrete comprises one or two arcuate rod clamping members 3, a bridge piece carrying the clamping members and three or four support legs 2 extending from the bridge piece each in opposed relation to the clamping members. The legs form a three or four pointed star and the planes containing each support leg are inclined to the planes containing the or each arcuate clamping member. An end portion of each leg remote from the bridge piece carries a lug 5 for engaging shuttering. An additional lug may be formed at the intersection of the legs.
