1299219 Collapsible stillages K SZAWELSKI 3 Nov 1970 [14 Oct 1970] 48759/70 Heading B8H A collapsible stillage comprises a base 11 mounted on leg portions 12 having upwardly extending projections 14 which are hingedly connected to article support pillars 15 which are connected by displaceable cross-members 17. When it is desired to collapse the stillage, pins 18 which hold the members 17 in position are removed and the members 17 are lowered to a position beneath the hinge connection between the pillars 15 and base 11, Fig. 2 (not shown). The hinge between the members 14, 15 consists of a lug (21) secured to the member 15 which is pivotally connected to a sliding hinge member (23) located in the projection 14, Fig. 3 (not shown), such that the pillars 15 must be raised to enable pivoting. Means 19 are provided to enable stacking of collapsed frames.
