1287998 Preventing lodging of rice plants SHIONOGI & CO Ltd 17 Dec 1970 [17 Dec 1969] 60091/70 Heading C1B A method of improving the resistibility to lodging of rice plants and other plants susceptible to lodging, comprises applying to the culms of the plants an emulsion containing from 0À8 to 50% by weight of one or more polymers selected from: polyvinyl acetate, urea resins, acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymers, styrenebutadiene copolymers, butadiene-styrene-vinylpyridine copolymers, polyvinyl chloride, vinyl chloride-vinylidene chloride copolymers and polyacrylates.
