Abstract

1282942 Aerosol hair-dyes L'OREAL 3 Dec 1969 [11 Dec 1968 7 Feb 1969] 59138/69 Heading C4X [Also in Division F1] An aerosol hair-colouring composition is produced in situ when required in a container in which a first chamber 11 is filled with a propellant mixture of Freons 11 and 12 ("Freon" is a Registered Trade Mark), a second chamber 19 contains a mixture of:-two nonyl phenol/ethylene oxide condensates, copra diethanolamide, butyl glycol, propylene glycol, ammonia, ptoluylene diamine, p-aminophenol, m-aminophenol, resorcinol, m-diaminoanisole sulphate, nitro-p-phenylene diamine, hydroquinone, sodium diethylene-triamino-pentaacetate, sodium bisulphite and water, and a third chamber 24 contains H 2 O 2 . Chambers 19 and 24 are closed by deformable diaphragms 20 and 26 and pressurizing gas is released from chamber 11 by needle 13.
