Abstract
1,249,295. Wall shuttering. RAPID METAL DEVELOPMENTS Ltd. 30 Oct., 1968 [7 Nov., 1967], No. 50569/67. Heading E1S. Shuttering panels 11 for casting concrete walls are fastened to ties, e.g. 10, by an anchoring device 14 in the form of an elongate plate 14 with a tab 15 bent at right angles therefrom at one end and passing through aligned slots in the flanged edges 12 of the panels, and a thickened portion at the other end, formed by bending down a further tab 16, a slot being formed in the thickened portion to receive a key 18 which, together with a wedge 19, fastens the looped end of the tie 10 to the plate 14.
