121,950. Semery, J. M. C. Dec. 22,1917, [Convention date]. Spring wheels with continuous flexible tread .and hollow wheel body forming fluid chamber.- The body of the wheel forms a fluid chamber 4 communicating freely through apertures 5, 6 with the inner tube 3 of the ordinary pneumatic tyre. The side disks 1, 2 of the wheel body may be curved, plane, or conical. The fluid is introduced through a valve 7, and in the case of a twin-tyre wheel, Fig. 5, there may be an additional valve 7<1> passing through one fluid chamber 4<1> to the other 4.
