An electrophotographic material comprises a support and a photoconductive layer on the support, the layer containing chlorosuccinic, bromosuccinic, chlorglutaric, methyl malonic or ethyl malonic acid. The photoconductive layer may further comprise ZnO, copolystyrene-butadiene or an acrylic or silicone resin and rose bengal whilst the support may be paper.
