[Also in Division F4] In a roof ventilator as described in Specification 1,129,953, a collar 8 is provided surrounding and covering a ledge 11 of the base 1 to prevent ingress of the impermeable roof covering 3, 4 to the radial channels 1a. The collar 8 has a central hole with slits or notches extending therefrom to enable it to be passed over cowl 5, and may be made of sheet paper.
