Abstract

1,200,582. Dog food. RALSTON PURINA CO. 21 Jan., 1969 [22 March, 1968], No. 3292/69. Heading A2B. The flavour of dog food is enhanced by the addition thereto of a material selected from ribonucleosides, 2<SP>1</SP>, 3<SP>1 </SP>- ribonucleotides, poly - 2<SP>1</SP>, 3<SP>1</SP> - ribonucleotides, purine, pyrimidine, ribonucleic acid, chemically hydrolysed ribonucleic acid-containing materials, thymidine, xanthosine, hypoxanthine, uric acid, cytosine, 5-methyl cytosine, uracil, thymine, orotic acid, adenine, guanine, ureidosuccinic acid, dihydro-DL-orotic acid, dihydrouracil, dihydrothymine, dihydro-6-methyl uracil, allantoin, and salts and mixtures thereof. Glutamates and stabilizers, for example sodium tripolyphosphates, orthophosphoric acid, or a salt of ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid, may also be present.
