Abstract

1,198,480. Spray producers. LICENTIA PATENTVERWALTUNGS G.m.b.H. 1 Nov., 1967 [3 Nov., .1966], No. 49661/67. Heading B2F. An electrostatc hand spray gun comprising a spray head, storage container and handle and a high voltage source inconporated in the hand spray gun to form an integral unit with the spray head, container and handle. The high voltage source may be interchangeable, or the accumulator may be removable for recharging while the remaining components of the source are embedded in resin cast in vacuo. The spray head may be of insulating plastic material, and may be rectangular with an elongated spray gap in one edge and an interior spray electrode. In one embodiment the accumulator and optionally inverters may be housed in a separate carrying case, which may also comprise a charger for the accumulator.
