Abstract

1,185,367. Fire operated ventilator. NOBO FABRIKKER A.S. 24 Aug., 1967 [25 Aug., 1966], No. 39061/67. Heading A5A. [Also in Division F2] Valve for ventilation ducts is adjustable normally by a screw-threaded control device and closed automatically in the event of fire by a spring 9 on melting of a fusible connection. A screwed sleeve 7 is secured to an operating stem 8 carrying a knob 10, by a low melting point solder or pin and operates the hinged valve flaps through a threaded stirrup 6 and links 4. The sleeve is supported by an end member 11 and on release from the stem 8 in any operated position moves to close the valve.
