Abstract

1,180,331. Endless conveyers. AZIONARIA COSTRUZIONI MACCHINE AUTOMATICHE S.p.A. 25 March, 1968 [25 March, 1967], No. 14264/68. Heading B8A. Biscuits 2 are transferred in batches from a conveyer belt 1a to spaces defined by members 31, 31 on a conveyer belt 30. There may be two belts 1a feeding alternate spaces on the belt 30 simultaneously. A batch of the leading biscuits upstream of the batch to be transferred are held by a clamping member 6 so as to halt the column. The leading end of the batch then engages a member 17 slidable on a guide 14 operated by a linkage 16. A gap thus forms at the upstream end of the batch, into which a member 29 is projected. The member 29 is mounted on a slider 25 carried by a pusher 22. A spring 27 acts between the slider 25 and a stop 23a rigid with the pusher 22. The latter is itself slidable on a guide 19 so as to push the batch on to the conveyer 30.
