Abstract

1,174,720. Transistor amplifying circuits. ASSOCIATED SEMICONDUCTOR MFRS. Ltd. 29 Oct., 1968, No. 51184/68. Heading H3T. A differential amplifier having improved common mode rejection characteristics comprises a long tailed pair of transistors T1, T2 with inputs 2, 3, to the bases. FETs M1, M2 are the collector loads of T1, T2 respectively with the bias appearing across M1 being the input to M2, resulting in an output at terminal 5. In a preferred embodiment T1, T2 and M1, M2 are matched pairs.
