[Also in Division C5] A cleansing composition for direct application to the skin for removal of faecal soil comprises a dispersion of 1¢ to 3% by weight of a bactericide of the formula C 6 H 5 -O-CH 2 - CHR-O wherein R is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, in an aqueous detergent solution containing 0.1 to 1 % by weight of a fattyacid diethanolamide or 1 to 4% 'by weight of a sodium sulpho-succinate of a polyglycol ether of a fatty alcohol.
