The side pieces 2 are wider than the strips 1 forming the front of the window and are curved through 60-90 degrees. The strips may be flat in vertical section or curved to provide a window curving in two directions. The window strips 1, 2 are mounted in a door frame 5 having top and bottom bars of L-section against which the glass strips are held by strips 8.
