1,132,732. Clip fastenings; hinges. ZAMBA CO. Ltd. 4 Feb., 1966 [4 Feb., 1965], No. 4905/65. Headings E2B and E2F. A clip 1 hinging together two adjacent units A, B of the kind having rods intersecting at right angles to form a grid is formed from a blank of bendable material and comprising two pairs of aligned sleeves 7 formed from the marginal portions of opposite sides of the blank, said sleeves extending from a planar central portion, the axes of both said pairs of sleeves being parallel to and on the same side of the plane of the said central portion, there being provided between the sleeves of each pair a notch 4, the said sleeves enclosing adjacent marginal rods 5 of the units and the notch accommodating the end portions of intersecting rods 6 and serving to locate the clips lengthwise of said marginal rods 5. With this arrangement the clip is prevented from moving along the rods 5. The assembly can form part of an incinerator, a fire-guard, a fence or a pen.
