Abstract
1,126,527. Display cartons. JOHN WADDINGTON Ltd. 4 May, 1967 [14 April, 1966], No. 16365/66. Heading B8P. A display carton blank, suitable to contain an Easter egg when made up (see Fig. 3, not shown), comprises hinged triangular portions 1D and 2D of flaps 1A and 2A. The outsides of these triangular portions are permanently secured to the outsides of corresponding squareended portions of flaps 3A and 4A, respectively, when the carton is made up, so that when the various other tongues are tucked in and secured together, flaps 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A lie inwardly towards the centre of the carton, and at an acute angle to the respective adjacent panel 1, 2, 3 or 4 (see Fig. 3, not shown) to provide a "picture frame" effect.
