Abstract

1,125,196. Sanitary straps. F. ERNEST ING. A.G. 6 June, 1967 [3 Sept., 1966], No. 26133/67. Heading E1C. A siphon fitting comprises a first part to seat in the discharge connection from a urinal comprising an overflow pipe 5, extending axially, and a channel as a siphon pocket 7 around the pipe 5 to seal the gap between it and the connection, and a second part made up of a plate 13 with apertures 14 and a tube 12 which, when in position, engages coaxially over the top end of the pipe 5 with its lower end below the pocket top. The pipe 5 has radial flanges 10 thereon to provide a seating for the tube 12, supported by shoulders 11 thereon. The two parts may be of plastics material and rigidly connected as a throw-away unit.
