Abstract
1,107,666. Vehicle steering wheels. COSMIC CAR ACCESSORIES Ltd. 3 Feb., 1967 [30 March, 1966], No. 14001/66. Heading B7V. The wheel comprises a metal hoop frame 1, an upper part 2 of hard smooth texture such as polished wood, and a lower high-friction part 3 of hard or soft rubber or plastics preferably covered by leather 4 which may be extended upwardly over the recessed into the part 2 or be extended and clamped between the two parts 2 and 3, Fig. 3 (not shown). In a modification the leather 4 may be chamfered off instead of inlaid into 2.
