A heating panel for a wall or ceiling comprises a foamed polystyrene sheet bonded to a plasterboard substrate with a zig-zag wire (or foil or fabric) between, whereby heat is radiated mainly through the plasterboard. The heating element may be arranged so that " nailing areas " are left at regular intervals across the panel.
