1,043,709. Handles for suction cleaners. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Oct. 18, 1963 [Oct. 22, 1962], No. 39894/62. Heading A4G. A cylinder type suction cleaner has the handle 5, e.g. in two parts 9, 9<SP>1</SP>, formed with end extensions 5<SP>1</SP> beyond anchoring supports 6 to make a cleat for storing the cable 7. One support houses the pivot 14 of one of the non-planar resilient loops 12, 13 securing the suction end cap 2 while the other support may have one or two housings 20, 21 respectively for the switch 8, 23 and cable connection 22. Handle 5 extends the whole length of the cylinder to facilitate balancing and up-ending.
