Abstract

1,036,387. Upholstery. STANDARDTRIUMPH MOTOR CO. Ltd. June 14, 1965, No. 24950/65. Addition to 987,862. Heading A4M. A normally impervious layer 16 of padding, e.g. of framed rubber, is sandwiched between a rigid frame and the inner layer 12 of the cover of the parent Specification, and is formed with through holes 17 which communicate with the through holes 14, 15 in the cover layers 10, 12. Preferably all of the surface depressions 13 are formed with through holes 14. Communication between through holes may be achieved by providing a clearance between adjacent layers. The through holes 17 in the padding have an increased diameter remotely from their ends adjacent an inner layer 12.
