Abstract
1,023,780. Rivets. BROWN BROS. (AIRCRAFT) Ltd. Feb. 17, 1965 [April 2, 1964], No. 13648/64. Heading F2H. A rivet, comprising a headed pin 10 and a metal collar 13 which is swaged into an annular groove 14 near the tail of the pin to secure the rivet, has a longitudinal slot 15 extending from the groove to the tail of the pin for the escape of liquids such as sealants which might otherwise be trapped between collar and pin.
