Abstract

1,015,165. Agricultural implements. GLOSTER EQUIPMENT Ltd. Nov. 8, 1962 [Nov. 8, 1961; March 9, 1962; June 12, 1962], Nos. 39969/61, 9137/62 and 22622/62. Heading A1B. An implement support comprises tools mounted on carriers 16 which are adjustably attached by bosses 19 to beams 15 which are raised and lowered by a hydraulic jack 13, the jack being provided with a pin 11 which co-operates with a slot 10 in a plate 6a attached to a beam 5, a lever mechanism 36 being provided and operated by the foot of the tractor driver to position the pin 11 at one or other end of the slot 10. With the pin at one end of the slot the jack will act to raise the tools and with the pin at the other end the jack will lower the tools. As shown the plate 6a rotates about a pin 9 but in a modification the plate pivots about the beam 5.
