Abstract

1,003,236. Headstones. H. E. S. SEYMOUR. April 14, 1964 [April 16, 1963], No. 14750/63. Heading E1A. A grave headstone 10 is formed as an aluminium alloy sand casting, and carries, e.g., a cast metal flower pot 17, by means of a bracket 14 spigoted into a socket 13 formed on the back of the headstone. Blocks 22, with raised lettering, are fitted to the front face of the headstone, and a picture or photograph may be clamped between two transparent sheets and placed behind a glass or transparent plastics cover 24 in a recess 25 on either of the faces of the headstone, the cover 24 being attached to the headstone by means of a frame 26.
