Procédé de contrôle d’au moins une batterie (1) électrique pour aéronef, chaque batterie (1) comprenant une pluralité de cellules (2) de stockage d’énergie électrique disposées dans une enceinte (3), le procédé comprenant des étapes de : - détection d’un début d’emballement thermique dans l’enceinte (3) au moyen d’au moins un capteur (11) disposé dans l’enceinte (3), - apport de chaleur dans l’enceinte (3) de manière à augmenter une température dans l’enceinte (3), au moyen d’au moins un dispositif de chauffe (6, 7).
