Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de détection d'eau retenue dans un filtre à particules (1) et/ou un système de réduction (3) catalytique sélective d'une ligne d'échappement (14), un premier différentiel de pression (9) servant à une estimation de la charge de suies dans le filtre (1) étant établi. Les pressions absolues aux bornes amont et aval (6, 7) du système de réduction (3) sont mesurées et un deuxième différentiel de pression (13) est établi, une valeur du deuxième différentiel (13) plus élevée qu'une valeur usuelle, déterminée par expérience comme étant associée au système de réduction (3), étant représentative d'eau dans le système de réduction (3). Il est mémorisé un modèle de dynamique d'augmentation du premier différentiel (9) inhérent à un accroissement de la charge de suies dans le filtre (1), une dynamique relevée du premier différentiel (9) différente du modèle étant représentative de la présence d'eau dans le filtre (1).
