Abstract

This system for supervising the evolution of a horse, is characterized in that it comprises a strap placed on the horse and having at least two sensors (3, 4) of cardiac activity of the horse disposed on the strap of staggered, and connected to a unit (5) for retrieval of information relating to the evolution of the horse, also receiving as input, information (6) relating to the environment in which the horse evolves and attitude information the horse, to establish horse evolution monitoring information to be transmitted, through a wireless telephone network (15), to a portable object communicating (16) access to this information.

Description

Supervisory system for the evolution of a horse

The present invention relates to a system for monitoring and monitoring the evolution of a horse.

In particular, such a system can be used to monitor the evolution of a racehorse, especially in training or racing.

There is no such supervisory system today that can capture and transmit, in real time, to the means made available for example by a trainer or other, information relating to the horse and follow the state of form for example of it.

The aim of the invention is therefore to propose such a system that makes it possible to capture various information relating to the horse, to its evolution and to the environment in which it is evolving and to transmit this information remotely.

This allows for example a coach or other, to have this information and therefore to remotely follow the horse. For this purpose, the subject of the invention is a system for supervising the evolution of a horse, characterized in that it comprises a belly strap placed on the horse and comprising at least two sensors for the cardiac activity of the horse arranged on the webbing in a staggered manner, and connected to a horse revolution information retrieval unit, also receiving as input, information relating to the environment in which the horse is moving and horse attitude information, for establishing horse evolution monitoring information for transmission over a wireless telephony network to a portable object communicating access to that information.

According to other features of the system according to the invention, taken alone or in combination: the information relating to the environment in which the horse moves comprises information from at least one sensor selected from the group of sensors comprising: a temperature sensor, - a humidity sensor, - a brightness sensor, - an atmospheric pressure sensor; the horse attitude information comprises information from means selected from the group comprising at least one horse attitude acquisition inertial unit and a satellite location sensor thereof; - The communicating portable object is selected from the group of objects comprising: - a smart phone, - a tablet, - a laptop, - a monitor. the unit for retrieving information relating to the evolution of the horse is carried by the horse; the unit for retrieving information relating to the evolution of the horse is worn by a rider; the belly strap furthermore comprises sensors for other physiological parameters of the horse; the unit for retrieving information relating to the evolution of the horse is associated with means for retrieving identification information from the horse; the means for retrieving the identification information of the horse comprises a radiofrequency tag reader carried by the horse and containing the identifying information thereof; the information retrieval unit and / or the communicating portable object comprise means for storing the evolution information in order to make it possible to make a history of these. The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of example and with reference to the appended drawings, in which: FIG. 1 represents a block diagram illustrating a ventricular strap entering the constituting a system according to the invention, in position on a horse, and - Figure 2 shows a block diagram illustrating the structure and operation of such a system.

In these figures and in particular in FIG. 1, a system for supervising the evolution of a horse has been illustrated.

This system comprises a belt strap, placed on the horse, the strap being designated by the general reference 1 in this Figure 1 and the horse being designated by the general reference 2.

This strap is then placed on the horse and has characteristics of mechanical strength and resistance to moisture and special conditions related to the field of application, allowing it to be used in all circumstances.

This strap 1 comprises a number of information acquisition means.

Thus, for example, this strap comprises at least two heart activity sensors of the horse, arranged on this strap staggered.

This shift makes it possible to obtain more precise acquisitions of this cardiac activity of the horse.

These sensors are for example designated by references 3 and 4 in this FIG.

These sensors are for example placed on the left side of the horse and can then raise the heart activity of the horse.

Of course, other sensors can be envisaged.

These sensors are connected to a horse revolution information recovery unit, designated by the general reference numeral 5 in this FIG.

This unit 5 is also adapted to receive, as input, information relating to the environment in which the horse moves and horse attitude information, from corresponding acquisition means, designated by the general reference 6 on this figure 1. Unit 5 is indeed adapted to establish, from these different data, horse evolution monitoring information, intended to be transmitted through a wireless telephone network, to a portable object communicating access to this information.

This is illustrated more clearly in FIG. 2, which recognizes the cardiac activity sensors of the horse, designated by the general references 3 and 4.

Also shown in this figure, connecting means thereof to the recovery unit 5, these connecting means being designated by the general reference 7 in this Figure 2.

These connection means comprise any appropriate means such as, for example, wired connection means or means of radio transmission of the corresponding signals.

It is also recognized in this Figure 2, the means for capturing the various information relating to the horse and the environment in which it evolves, these means always being designated by the general reference 6 in this Figure 2.

In fact and as previously indicated, the information retrieval unit 5, for example can receive as input, information relating to the environment in which the horse evolves.

This information relating to the environment in which the horse evolves comprises information from at least one sensor selected from the group of sensors comprising a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, a brightness sensor, an atmospheric pressure sensor. , this or these sensors being designated by the general reference 8 in this FIG.

The horse's attitude data comprises information from means selected from the group comprising at least one horse attitude acquisition inertial unit and a satellite location sensor (GPS), said means being designated as the general reference 9 in this Figure 2. By way of example the inertial acquisition unit may include accelerometers, gyroscopes, ..., in a conventional manner.

Of course other parameters, other types of sensors and means for acquiring other physiological parameters of the horse, can be envisaged. The horse evolution information retrieval unit 5 is also associated with horse identification information retrieval means, these retrieval means being designated by general reference 10 in FIG.

In fact, these means may for example comprise a reader 11, a radiofrequency tag, RFID, referenced 12, carried by the horse.

This label is associated for example with the horse's ear or is placed in the neck of it in a conventional manner.

It contains for example a unique identification number of the horse constituting his identity card.

Before any use of the system, it is then useful to couple the unit 5 to the horse by reading the identification of the horse.

This unit 5 can also be connected for example to visual indication means, for example using light emitting diodes, the operating state thereof.

These means of indication are designated by the general reference 13 in this figure.

Finally, information storage means 14 may also be associated with this recovery unit 5, for storing evolution information in order to make it possible to make a history of these.

This information then allows the information retrieval unit 5 to establish horse evolution monitoring information, which is intended to be transmitted, over a wireless telephone network, to a portable object communicating access to this information.

These means of transmission by wireless telephone network, are designated by the general reference 15 in this Figure 2, while the portable object is designated by the general reference 16.

This portable object can be selected from a group of objects including a smartphone, a tablet, a laptop, a monitor, and the like.

This object then also comprises means for storing information, for example history.

This object and these means then allow for example to a remote party such as a trainer or any other person connected and for example authorized to receive this information, remotely retrieve the information of supervision of the evolution of the horse.

It is conceivable that such a system allows for example a coach to remotely follow the training or races of one or more horses. The evolution of the horse can also be followed through the retrieval of the information history.

Moreover, a particular treatment of this information can be applied to detect, for example, characteristic elements of the performance of the horse.

Of course, various embodiments of this system may be envisaged and it may be arranged in whole or in part on the strap placed on the horse or be worn in part for example by a rider.

It goes without saying that in the present description the term "rider" should be understood as generally referring to any jockey whether he is a galloping rider, a driver at a trot ...

Thus, for example, the unit for retrieving information relating to the evolution of the horse can be carried by this horse or by a jumper, and in the latter case, be connected by means of radio transmission of signals, for example to the heart activity sensors of the horse. Still other embodiments can be envisaged.

Claims (10)

1. - System for monitoring the evolution of a horse (2), characterized in that it comprises a strap (1) placed on the horse (2) and having at least two sensors (3, 4) d cardiac activity of the horse disposed on the strap (1) staggered, and connected to a unit (5) for retrieval of information relating to the evolution of the horse, also receiving as input, information (6) relating to the horse's environment and horse attitude information, to establish horse evolution information to be transmitted, via a wireless telephone network (15), to a portable object communicating (16) access to this information.
2. - System for monitoring the evolution of a horse according to claim 1, characterized in that the information relating to the environment in which the horse is moving comprises information from at least one sensor selected from the group of sensors (8) comprising: - a temperature sensor, - a humidity sensor, - a brightness sensor, - an atmospheric pressure sensor.
3. - System for monitoring the evolution of a horse according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the horse attitude information comprises information from means selected from the group (9) comprising at least one central inertial attitude acquisition of the horse and a satellite location sensor thereof.
4. - System for monitoring the evolution of a horse according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the communicating portable object (16) is selected from the group of objects comprising: - a smart phone, - a tablet, - a laptop, - a monitor.
5. - Horse evolution monitoring system according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the unit (5) for retrieval of information relating to the evolution of the horse is carried by the horse .
6. - System for monitoring the evolution of a horse according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the unit (5) for retrieving information relating to the evolution of the horse is carried by a horserider.
7. - System for monitoring the evolution of a horse according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the belly strap (1) further comprises sensors of other physiological parameters of the horse.
8. - System for monitoring the evolution of a horse according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the unit (5) for retrieving information relating to the evolution of the horse is associated with means (10) recovery of identification information of the horse.
9. - System for monitoring the evolution of a horse according to claim 8, characterized in that the means (10) for retrieving the identification information of the horse comprise a reader (11) radiofrequency tag (12) carried by the horse and containing the identification information of the horse.
10. - Horse evolution monitoring system according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the information retrieval unit (5) and / or the communicating portable object (16) comprise means for storing (14) the evolution information to make it possible to make a history thereof.
