L'invention concerne un gradateur pour synthétiser une température de couleur proximale secondaire TCps à partir d'au moins deux sources (S1), (S2) de température de couleur primaire TCpp1 et TCpp2, comprenant des moyens variateurs (230), (240) de chaque température de couleur primaire pour obtenir différentes températures de couleur proximale secondaires, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend : - des premiers moyens de saisie (20), (21) de chaque température de couleur primaire ; - des deuxièmes moyens de saisie (22) d'une température de consigne correspondant à une température de couleur proximale secondaire souhaitée ; - des moyens de commande (23), (24) des moyens variateurs (230), (240) ; - un calculateur (2) paramétré pour piloter les moyens de commande (23), (24) des moyens variateurs pour définir une proportion des températures de couleur primaires entre elles pour atteindre ladite température de consigne.
