L'invention concerne un procédé de rechargement électrique des batteries (202, 204) d'un véhicule électrique, à partir d'une station de charge électrique (206) externe audit véhicule, ledit procédé (100) comprenant : - une phase (104), dite de chauffe, pour réchauffer lesdites batteries (202, 204) avec un premier signal électrique, dit de chauffe, fourni par ladite station de charge (206), et - une phase (110), dite de charge, pour recharger lesdites batteries (202, 204) avec un deuxième signal électrique, dit de charge, différent dudit premier signal, fourni par ladite station de charge (206) ; le passage de ladite phase de chauffe (104) à ladite phase de charge (110) étant déclenché par ledit véhicule ou par un signal fourni par ledit véhicule Elle concerne également un système mettant en œuvre un tel procédé et un véhicule électrique équipé d'un tel système.
