Abstract

The invention relates to a covering leaf with a rebate (8) mounted movably relative to a frame (2) using at least a first (3) and a second invisible articulation system comprising each a male hinge provided with a hinge pin cooperating with an eye (23) of a female hinge. According to the invention, for each of the articulation systems, the opening (1) comprises a notch (30) defining a housing (31) for the hinge fixed on the opening, the housing (31) opening in the vertical edge of the opening and in the rabbet of the opening leaving behind the front face (11) of the opening, a portion of the opening forming a cover (33) for the hinge fixed on the opening.

Description

The present invention relates to the technical field of industrial interior joinery and more specifically to the field of fire-resistant overlay doors. In general, a covering door comprises an opening whose two vertical edges and the upper horizontal edge and even the lower horizontal edge include a rabbet that allows the door to partially cover the frame. The opening is mounted on the frame with the aid of hinge systems such as hinges or hinge fittings. Each hinge system comprises a male hinge fixed on the frame and provided with a hinge pin cooperating with an eye of a female hinge mounted integral with the movable leaf.

In some applications, it appears the need that the opening is concealed in the partition in which it is installed. This is the case, for example, of the openings of the cupboards of the technical ducts located in the buildings. For such applications, the hinge systems equipping the opening must have an invisible character in the closed position of the opening. The prior art has proposed numerous variations of realization of invisible hinges. However, none of the known solutions are satisfactory in practice because they do not reduce the clearance or space between the periphery of the opening and the partition in which the opening is implanted. It thus appears a discontinuity between the facade of the opening and the partition in which the opening is installed.

The present invention aims to overcome the drawbacks of the state of the art by providing a cover leaf, designed to visually melt with the partition in which it is mounted.

To achieve such an objective, the opening according to the invention is movably mounted relative to a frame with at least a first and a second invisible hinge systems each having a male hinge provided with a articulation axis cooperating with an eye of a female hinge. For each of the articulation systems, the opening comprises a notch delimiting a housing for the hinge fixed on the opening, the housing opening in the vertical edge of the opening and in the rebate of the opening allowing from the front face of the opening, part of the opening forming a cover for the hinge fixed on the opening. As is apparent from the Figures, the object of the invention relates to an opening 1 pivotally mounted around one of its vertical edges on a frame or frame 2 using invisible hinge systems 3, 4. According to a preferred application, the opening 1 is part of a covering door used for example to close passages for ducts arranged in a partition C (Figure 2). The opening 1 conventionally has a generally rectangular shape and has a front face li and a rear face 12 interconnected by vertical edges 5, an upper horizontal edge 6 and a lower horizontal edge 7. The faces h, 12 are considered before and rear when the opening 1 is in the closed position. The opening 1 is provided with a rabbet 8 arranged along its periphery on the edges 5, 6, 7 so that the opening 1 has, at its periphery, a portion 10 covering a portion of the frame 2 and , in its central part, an insertion portion 11 intended to come into the interior of the frame frame 2. The opening 1 therefore comprises for each edge, a flat portion extending to the square from the face before li and a recessed portion corresponding to the bottom of the rabbet 8, and delimiting the insertion portion 11.

The frame 2 has a generally rectangular shape adapted to receive the opening 1. The frame 2 has an opening 12 arranged to delimit a front wall 13 and recessed, an inner wall 14. The front wall 13 of the frame is present in the form of a frame in front of which is positioned the covering portion 10 of the opening 1 when the latter occupies its closed position. This front wall 13 extends in a vertical plane and is extended at right angles by the inner wall 14 vis-à-vis which the insertion part 11 is inserted when the opening is in its closed position. . The opening 1 is articulated to the frame 2 with the aid of at least one first invisible articulation system 3 said upper and at least one second invisible articulation system 4 said lower. Each articulation system 3, 4 comprises a male hinge respectively 18, 19 and a female hinge respectively 21, 22. Each female hinge 21, 22 is provided with an eye 23 cooperating with a hinge pin 24, 25.

According to the invention, the opening 1 comprises for each articulation system 3, 4, a notch 30 delimiting a housing 31 for the hinge fixed on the opening 1, namely the female hinge 21, 22. Each notch 30 is arranged in a vertical edge 5 on a limited height, from each horizontal edge 6, 7, leaving behind the front 1% of the opening, a portion 33 of the opening forming a cover for the hinge fixed on the opening. The opening 1 thus has in an upper corner and in a lower corner located along the same vertical edge 5, a notch 30 opening in the rabbet 8.

Thus, as shown in Figs. 4 and 5, the vertical edge 5 has at the notch 30, a vertical edge offset 5i relative to the rest of the vertical edge bordering the opening. In the illustrated example, this offset vertical edge 5i extends substantially from the bottom of the rabbet 8 delimiting the insertion portion 11. Similarly, each horizontal edge 6, 7, present at the notch 30, an offset horizontal edge 6i, 7i relative to the remainder of the horizontal edge bordering the opening 1. In the illustrated example, this offset horizontal edge 6i, 7 ± extends slightly back from the bottom of the rabbet 8 delimiting the insertion part 11. When the opening 1 is closed, the female hinges 21, 22 are not visible on the front face of the opening. In the illustrated example, each female hinge 21, 22 is fixed on the opening 1 and is mounted to be invisible from the front face 1 of the opening 1.

Each female hinge 21, 22 comprises an eye 23 connected by a plane connecting flange 35, to a support 37 for attachment to the opening 1. As can be seen from FIG. 4, each plane connecting flange 35 extends to from the eye 22 to be positioned vis-a-vis the cover 33, being more or less in contact with this part of the opening. In the mounted position of the female hinge, the eye 23 is located completely inside the housing 31 while flush with the vertical edge of the opening 1 (FIG 3).

As can be seen from Figs. 4 and 5, the mounting bracket 37 of each female hinge 21, 22 has a fixing flange 39 for mounting the female hinge on the opening. This fixing flange 39 which extends at right angles to the plane connecting flange 35 is provided with at least one through hole 40 for a fastener 41 such as a fixing screw. This fastener 41 is anchored in the offset vertical edge 5i of the opening.

According to a preferred embodiment, the fixing support 37 also comprises at least a first fixing lug 42 and in the example also illustrated a second fixing lug 43. These fixing lugs 42 and 43 are folded at a right angle by relative to the attachment wing 39, in the opposite direction of the eye 23, being offset laterally relative to each other. These fixing lugs 42, 43 are intended to be fixed on the horizontal edge of the opening.

According to an advantageous embodiment variant, one of the fastening tabs namely the fastening tab 42 is fixed on the horizontal edge 6, 7 of the covering portion 10 of the opening while the other fastening tab namely the tab 43 is fixed on the horizontal edge of the insertion portion 11 of the opening, that is to say the bottom of the rabbet 8 delimiting this insertion portion 11.

As is apparent from the drawings, each fixing lug 42, 43 comprises, for example, a through hole 48 for a fastener 49 such as a screw anchored in the corresponding parts of the edge of the sash 1.

According to a preferred embodiment, each bracket 42, 43 is mounted to be positioned in a cutout 50 arranged in each horizontal edge of the opening 1, from the offset vertical edge 5i to come flush with the horizontal edge of the opening. 'opening.

Each male hinge 18, 19 is fixed on the frame 2 and has for this purpose a body 52 for attachment to the frame frame 2. Conventionally, each male hinge 18, 19 is fixed to the frame with the help of organs fixation such as 54 anchoring screws. In the illustrated example, each fixing body 52 comprises a fastening core 55 which is anchored on the front wall 13 of the fixed frame. This core 55 is extended on one side, by a folded portion 56 fixed on the inner wall 14 of the frame and on the other side, by a mounting flange 57 for the hinge axis 24, 25 extending horizontally forward with respect to the front wall 13 of the frame.

The male hinge 18 of the first upper articulation system 3 is arranged so that the sole 57 is equipped with the hinge pin 24 which extends downwardly vertically.

The lower articulation system 4 is such that the so-called male hinge receives the axis of articulation 25 which as will be described in the following description, is mounted integral with the female hinge. Even if the hinge pin 25 is not an integral part of the male hinge, the hinge of the lower hinge system 4 is considered to be a male hinge because it serves to articulate the system 4. For this purpose, the hinge pin 25 hinge pin 25 is intended to be engaged inside the eye 23 of the female hinge 22, being assembled to the latter in any appropriate manner. In the illustrated example (FIGS.5 and 7), the eye 23 of the female hinge 22 has a threaded through hole 58 for an assembly screw 59 which engages in a cavity 60 arranged on the axis of articulation 25.

Furthermore, the sole 57 of the male hinge 19 has a bore 61 for receiving a journal 25i presented by the axis 25, beyond an abutment surface 252 intended to be supported by the sole 57. Preferably , a friction washer 62 is interposed between the sole 57 and the abutment surface 252 of the hinge axis 25. The hinge pin 25 is thus removably mounted on the mounting flange 57 of the male hinge .

According to an advantageous embodiment, the lower articulation system 4 comprises a system for adjusting the height of the opening 1 relative to the frame frame 2. For example, the hinge pin 25 has a sloping portion 65 with which cooperates an adjustment screw 66 integral with the eye 23 of the female hinge. Of course, the cavity 60 has in the vertical direction, a dimension sufficient to allow the displacement of the female hinge relative to the hinge axis 25.

According to an alternative embodiment, each hinge system 3, 4 comprises a covering consisting of an internal cover 70 fixed in the housing 31 and an outer cover 71 closing the housing 31 on the rear face 12 of the opening 1.

It is clear from the description that the articulation systems 3, 4 of the opening 1 are invisible from the front face of the opening when the latter is closed. Moreover, the assembly of articulation systems 3, 4 is such that a minimum clearance J can be obtained between partition C of mounting of the opening and the vertical edge of the opening according to which the opening is articulated. (Fig 2). Furthermore, it should be noted that if the partition C is set back from the front face of the opening, the latter can open over an angular range of the order of 180 °. The invention is not limited to the examples described and shown because various modifications can be made without departing from its scope.
