Description

The present invention relates to a member for maintaining an acetabular implant cup, and in particular a cotyloid implant with dual mobility. The document US8398650 discloses an impaction ancillary for the implantation of a cotyloid implant cup with dual mobility, the impaction ancillary comprising: a grasping member provided with a grip handle, an organ in which the holding member is resiliently deformable between an insertion configuration in which the holding member has a first diameter and is configured to be inserted into a substantially hemispherical inner cavity delimited by the cup. and a holding configuration in which the holding member has a second diameter greater than the first diameter and is configured to frictionally engage the inner wall of the cup to hold the cup in position, a deforming member fixedly mounted on the gripping member, the deformation member being of frustoconical general shape, and - a device of actuation mounted on the gripping member and configured to move the holding member relative to the deformation member between a first position in which the deformation member is configured to elastically deform the holding member to its configuration holding, and a second position in which the deformation member allows a deformation of the holding member to its insertion configuration.   5. Holding member (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the receiving housing (16) and the fixing housing (13) are coaxial and axially offset.
  6. 6. Holding member (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the receiving housing (16) and the spherical surface portion extend coaxially.
  7. 7. holding member (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the lateral introduction opening (18) extends over the entire height of the holding member (2) and opens further radially in the receiving housing (16).
  8. 8. Retaining member (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the height of the holding portion (11) is between about a quarter and about half the radius of the spherical surface portion .

The holding member (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 8, which comprises a plurality of deformation slots (19) extending radially outwardly of the holding member (2), the deformation slots (19) being angularly offset relative to the axis (A) of the holding member (2) and being configured to promote the elastic deformation of the holding member (2) between its insertion configuration and keeping. 25
  10. 10. holding member (2) according to claim 9, wherein each deformation slot (19) comprises an outer end (21) opposite the axis (A) of the holding member (2) and defined by a portion of cylindrical surface.
  11. The holding member (2) according to claim 10, which is configured such that the radial distance (D) between the outer end (21) of a deformation slot (19) and the peripheral edge of the bearing portion (5) is substantially identical for all deformation slots (19).
  12. 12. Retaining member (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 11, which comprises at least one abutment portion (22) defining at least partly the fixing housing (13) and extending transversely to the housing. the axis (A) of the holding member (2), the at least one stop portion (22) being intended to cooperate, under use conditions, with the fastening portion (14) belonging to the impaction ancillary (4) so as to favor a withdrawal of the holding member (2) from the cup (3) when the holding member (2) is in its insertion configuration and 5 that traction is exerted on the impaction ancillary (4).
  13. 13. A range of impaction ancillary components comprising a plurality of holding members (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 12 and of different sizes.
  14. 14. Range according to claim 13, wherein each holding member (2) comprises a distal end face (24) opposite the bearing portion (5) relative to the holding portion (11), the height ( H) between the shoulder (7) of a holding member (2) and the respective distal end face (24) being substantially identical for all of the holding members (2).
  15. 15. The range of claim 13 or 14, which comprises a deformation member (17) of frustoconical general shape and configured to be housed at least partly in the receiving housing (16) of each retaining member (2) belonging to the range, the deformation member (17) being intended to be mounted movably on the impaction ancillary (4).
