Description

OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to the general technical field of composite materials of the type reinforced concrete textile (or "TRC", acronym for the expression Anglo-Saxon "Textile Reinforced Concrete"). More specifically, the present invention relates to a mineral matrix that can be combined with a technical textile to form a mineral matrix composite. Such a mineral matrix composite can be used in many applications in the field of construction, such as the production of structural components or structural elements for civil engineering and construction. In the following, the expression "mineral matrix" refers to the initial composition consisting in particular of a mixture of powders, the term "concrete" refers to the mineral matrix mixed with water, the expression "concrete hardened "refers to concrete once solidified. PRESENTATION OF THE PRIOR ART 25 Many composite materials have been developed in the Civil Engineering sector to allow the design of works or parts of the work. Composite materials are indeed particularly suitable for reinforcing, protecting, maintaining and repairing existing structures because of: - their mechanical performance, particularly in terms of traction, - their light weight (which does not overload the structure being repaired) and - their adhesion to concrete or masonry.

En particulier, la matrice minérale comprend un liant, un squelette granulaire, et un (ou plusieurs) additif(s).An object of the present invention is to provide a fast-setting, temperature-resistant inorganic matrix for the manufacture of TRC. More specifically, an object of the present invention is to provide a mineral matrix whose main characteristics are as follows: a hyper-fluidity of the concrete obtained from the mineral matrix to allow impregnation of nonwoven and woven reinforcements without a mechanical tightening is necessary, - a very short curing time to obtain the hardened concrete: o to allow to mobilize the mixing water of the concrete to hydrate the binder, and o to allow, by the rapid structuring of the binder, to oppose the desiccation of the concrete, this sensitivity to desiccation being due to the very small ratio between the thickness and the area of the surface of exchange of the concrete with the outside. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION To this end, the invention provides a mineral matrix comprising a binder, a granular skeleton, and additives, remarkable in that: - the binder is an ettringitic binder, and in that - the additives comprise a superplasticizer. The combined uses of an ettringitic binder and a superplasticizer make it possible to obtain a hyper-fluid mineral matrix suitable for the manufacture of thin composites (i.e. 1 to 10 mm thick) by impregnating woven or non-woven reinforcements. Indeed, the combined uses of an ettringitic binder and a superplasticizer make it possible to obtain a mineral matrix: - capable of impregnating a technical textile without requiring the use of mechanical clamping, - having a hardening time short enough to limit the phenomenon of desiccation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The mineral matrix according to the invention will now be described in more detail. 1. Identification of the targeted functions The functions to which the mineral matrix must respond are the following: - Hyperfluidity: the composition of the mineral matrix must be designed so that the concrete (obtained from it) is sufficiently fluid, - Stability: the composition of the mineral matrix must be designed to limit the risks of sedimentation of the concrete, - Low desiccation: the composition of the mineral matrix must be provided to reduce the sensitivity to desiccation of the concrete, - Curing: the composition of the mineral matrix must be provided to allow the concrete hardening speed to be adapted according to the intended application, - Durability: the composition of the matrix must be designed to limit the microcracking phenomena that may limit the service life of the hardened concrete obtained from the mineral matrix. 2. Composition of the mineral matrix The various constituents of the mineral matrix make it possible to respond to the various functions that the latter must satisfy. In particular, the mineral matrix comprises a binder, a granular skeleton, and one (or more) additive (s).

As an indication, the technical effects associated with the various constituents of the mineral matrix are given in the table below Table I Analysis of the functions sought Constituents Hyperfluidity Superplasticizer Stability of the matrix viscosity agent Reduction of the sensitivity of the matrix to the desiccant binding Fast curing Management of the DPU (Practical Duration of Use) and hardening additives setting modifiers Durability (micro-cracking) Resin 2.1 Binder The binder allows the hardening of the mineral matrix. The binder of the mineral matrix is advantageously an ettringitic binder.

In the context of the present invention, the term "ettringitic binder" is intended to mean a binder whose main hydrate formed is ettringite. One of the properties of an ettringitic binder is that it is adapted to harden and quickly build up resistance, which differentiates it from Portland cements.

Ettringitic binders are the solution to the problem of desiccation because associated with suitable additives, it is possible to obtain very short curing times, and therefore a very rapid structuring of the mineral matrix that will oppose the evaporation of mixing water.

An ettringitic binder is a mixture of aluminous cement (CAC), calcium sulphate and Portland cement. Aluminous cement can be replaced by sulpho-aluminous cement (CSA), calcium sulphate can be anhydrite, hemihydrate (alpha plaster or beta) or gypsum or a mixture of two of the three calcium sulphates or even three. Thus, the ettringitic binder is composed of: - aluminous cement (CAC) and / or sulfo-aluminous cement (CSA), - and calcium sulphate such as plaster and / or gypsum and / or anhydrite, - and Portland cement. Depending on the nature of the calcium sulphate, the dosage of calcium sulphate will form more or less ettringite. Portland cement is there to ensure a pH of 11 to 12.5, which corresponds to the stability range of ettringite. It is possible to replace Portland cement with calcium hydroxide (slaked lime). An example of a hydration reaction between anhydrite and monocalcium aluminate is presented to illustrate the formation of ettringite (C6AS3I-132) with: 3CA + 3CS + 38H C6AS3H32 + 2AH3-C: CaO, A: A1203, -S: S03, - H: H2O One of the advantages of using an ettringitic binder is its great flexibility. It allows an adaptation of the mineral matrix according to the constraints associated with the targeted applications. These applications may involve composites technology where MO-Al fire classification is required. 2.2 Granular skeleton The granular skeleton makes it possible to limit the cracking of the mineral matrix after drying of the latter. The granular skeleton is, for example, optionally milled silica, and / or calcareous filler, and / or silica fume, and / or metakaolin, and / or fly ash, and / or slag, and / or chamotte, and / or wollastonite. 2.3 Additives The additives play different roles and notably improve: o the fluidity of the mineral matrix when it is mixed with water to form a concrete (ie superplasticizer type rheology agent), o the stability of the mineral matrix when it is mixed with water to form the concrete (ie viscosity agent), and o the service life of the concrete after drying (ie resin), o the setting time of the concrete by reducing or increasing it ( ie setting modifying agent), the adhesion of the concrete to the technical textile during its application, etc. The additives may comprise in particular a rheology agent, a setting modifier agent, a viscosity agent, a resin, a water-repellent mass. 2.3.1 Rheology agent The rheology agent makes it possible to increase the fluidity of the concrete obtained from the matrix in order to allow the impregnation of technical textiles without the need for mechanical tightening.

The rheology agent is advantageously a superplasticizer. More specifically, the superplasticizer may be a polycarboxylate, and / or a naphthalene sulfonate, and / or a melamine formaldehyde. 2.3.2 Tack modifying agent The setting modifying agent is for example an accelerator or a retarding agent for accelerating or delaying the setting of the mineral matrix. The setting modifying agent makes it possible to manage the practical duration of use and the duration of setting of the mineral matrix. When the setting modifier agent is a retarder, it may be selected from carboxylic acids and associated salts, such as tartaric acid, potassium tartrate (salt) and / or sodium gluconate (sugar).

When the setting modifier agent is an accelerator, it may be selected from sodium carbonate, potassium sulfate, sodium sulfate, lithium sulfate, lithium salts. 2.3.3 Viscosity Agent The viscosity agent makes it possible to limit the risks of sedimentation of the mineral matrix once the water has been added thereto to obtain the concrete. The viscosity agent is for example selected from cellulose ethers, Guar gum, Xanthan gum, Welan gum, starch ethers. 2.3.4 Resin 15 The resin makes it possible to increase the life of the product by limiting the risks of microcracking of the hardened concrete.
