Abstract

The invention relates to a device for fixing a bright decoration on a pole. The invention relates to the technical field of light decorations intended to be temporarily installed outdoors, for example to illuminate a public road. State of the art

Luminous decorations are usually temporarily installed on public roads, typically to illuminate a street, a square, a building during periods of festive events such as Christmas. These luminous decorations must be dismountable and able to be fixed on existing urban elements such as public lighting poles, poles, trees, columns, etc. In the remainder of the description, the term "pole" will be used to designate all these urban elements. The devices for fixing luminous decorations are numerous. For example, document FR 2 863 687 (WOODSYS) discloses a fastening device comprising a bracket in the form of a bracket on which a projector is fixed. This support is provided with flanges configured to grip a pole. Elastomer pads arranged inside the flanges make it possible to adapt to the section of the post. US 5,984,489 (RUBENSTEIN) and US 1,750,923 (COURTNEY) disclose similar fasteners in which the flanges are provided with studs or adjustable support screws to fit the size of a trunk tree or pole. Flanges are the only fasteners that hold luminous decorations in place by clamping. However, there is a real risk of unscrewing due to natural stress of mechanical (wind) or thermal (temperature difference), and therefore a risk to safety. This state of affairs is aggravated by the fact that the bridles take up entirely the weight of the luminous decoration. It is therefore necessary to design flanges that are reliable and robust, which generally makes them very expensive.

In addition, with such fixing devices, the installation of luminous decorations on poles requires the intervention of a nacelle, in particular for fixing the upper flange, and often the neutralization of a traffic lane. It is also necessary to involve at least three technicians because two people are usually needed in the basket of the basket and a person must remain on the ground for safety. It is easy to understand that this logistics makes the installation operation for the municipalities expensive, which is sometimes more expensive than the luminous decorations installed.

The purpose of the invention is to eliminate these technical problems. In particular, an object of the invention is to limit or eliminate the stresses to which the flanges are subjected. Another object of the invention is to provide a fixing device which simplifies the installation of luminous decorations on a pole.

Yet another object of the invention is to simplify the design of the fixing device so that it is less expensive than the devices mentioned above.

Disclosure of the invention. The solution proposed by the invention is a device for fixing a luminous decoration on a pole, comprising a support on which is fixed said luminous decoration, said support being provided with at least one flange configured to grip said post and maintain position said support against said post. This device is remarkable in that the support is longitudinal and configured to be positioned along said post and bear on the ground so that the weight of said decoration is taken up by said ground. The flange and the post being less stressed, their design can be simpler and less expensive. In addition, such a longitudinal support being manipulated from the ground, its use allows to install the luminous decor with only two technicians (see only one following the type decor), without nacelle, but possibly with a scale-platform that does not require to neutralize a lane.

Embodiments of the invention The device of the invention makes it possible to fix a luminous decoration on a post (public lighting pole, mast, tree, columns, ...).

With reference to the appended figures, the fixing device 1 comprises a support 2 on which is fixed the luminous decoration 3. The latter is typically constituted by a rigid frame 30 on which is fixed a lighting 31, strings of light or any other decorative light element.

According to the invention, the support 2 is longitudinal and configured to position along the pole 4 and bear on the ground S so that the weight of the decor 3 is taken up by said ground. According to the preferred embodiment shown schematically in the accompanying figures, the support 2 is formed of at least two vertical uprights 2a, 2b arranged parallel to each other. A greater number of amounts can however be provided, especially if the post 4 to decorate has a large section and / or if the bright decor 3 is imposing. The lower end of the uprights 2a, 2b bears on the ground S and the upper end of said uprights is provided with fastening means 20a, 20b of the luminous decoration 3. The support 2 thus allows the weight of the decor 3 to be taken up again so that that the stresses are essentially carried on the ground S. The pole 4 is not or little solicited. The amounts 2a, 2b are configured to be positioned against the post 4, and more particularly to press against the outer wall of said post (Figure 2). One of the advantages of using uprights is that the adjustment of their spacing makes it easy to adapt to the section of the post 4. However, it is possible to use a support 2 monobloc conform to standard sections of posts 4 .

In order to simplify the design of the device, the amounts 2a, 2b preferably consist of similar cylindrical tubes, for example made of metal or plastic. The choice of a light material is preferred so as to facilitate the handling of the support 2. The uprights 2a, 2b are not necessarily straight but may instead have one or more curved portions 26a, 26b, allowing the support 2 to adapt to the configuration of the pole 4. The length of the uprights 2a, 2b can vary from 2 m to 5 m. In the case of cylindrical tubular uprights, their diameter can vary from 5 cm to 20 cm. The lower end of the uprights 2a, 2b can be provided with a height-adjustable foot 21a, 21b. These feet make it possible to adjust the size of the uprights and / or to make up any inclination of the ground S. More generally, the length of the support 2 is adjustable. In the preferred case where the support 2 is formed of uprights 2a, 2b, the latter can for example be telescopic.

Fixing means 20a, 20b of the luminous decoration 3 are preferably removable fixing means so that a same support 2 can receive different models of decor 3, or even elements other than a luminous decor (banner, flag , non-luminous decorative object, ...). To simplify the design and facilitate assembly, the fastening means 20a, 20b are formed by the tubular upper ends of the uprights 2a and 2b. The frame 30 of the decor 3 comprises complementary rods 30a, 30b configured to fit into these tubular ends. Other removable attachment methods may however be envisaged such as clamping or screwing. Permanent methods of attachment such as welding may further be envisaged.

The support 2 is provided with at least one, preferably several flanges 22, 23, 24. Referring to FIG. 3, these flanges 22, 23, 24 are configured to grip the post 4 and hold the support 2 in position against said post, preventing said support from tilting. In the case where a single flange is used, it will be positioned substantially in the middle of the support 2. In the case where several flanges are used, they are distributed homogeneously on the support 2. Referring to FIG. 22, 23, or 24 is advantageously formed by a fixed part 22a, 23a, 24a fixed to the support 2, and a movable part 22b, 23b, 24b, possibly articulated to said fixed part by a hinge 22c, 23c, 24c of axis vertical. More particularly, each fixed portion 22a, 23a, 24a is connected to each of the uprights 2a, 2b. 22a, by means of a connection by welding, screwing, or other. Each fixed part 22a, 23a, 24a is preferably flexible so that the spacing of the uprights 2a, 2b can vary to fit the section of the pole 4. For the same reasons, each movable part 22b, 23b, 24b is also advantageously made of a flexible material. Each flange 22, 23, 24 may for example consist of two half-shells made from a metal blade or thin plastic, giving it a certain flexibility. The fixed parts 22a, 23a, 24a and mobile 22b, 23b, 24b comprise complementary connecting means for locking them together and to clamp the pole 4. In practice, use is made of connecting screws or rods or locking hooks. . This type of flange can easily be implemented by a single operator, for example with a platform ladder.

In an alternative embodiment, each flange 22, 23, or 24 may consist of a strapping ring or a clamping device of the fixed and movable jaw type.

Referring to the embodiment of Figure 4, the movable portions 22b, 23b, 24b can be connected to each other by a vertical rod 25 arranged to be positioned against the pole 4 when the fixed parts 22a, 23a, 24a and mobile 22b, 23b, 24b are locked. The rod 25 consists for example of a cylindrical tube of metal or plastic, having a diameter ranging from 1 cm to 20 cm. Each movable portion 22b, 23b, 24b is connected to the rod 25, by means of a connection by welding, screwing, or other. By operating the rod 25, it is thus possible to manipulate all the moving parts 22b, 23b, 24b at the same time.

So that the rod 25 is easily maneuverable by an operator on the ground, the lower end of said rod is preferably accessible and manipulated from a height less than or equal to 2 m from said ground. In fact, the rod may also consist of a vertical upright resting on the ground, similar to the amounts 2a and 2b described above.

The electrical connection of the luminous decor 3 is done by means of an electric cord connected to a power source. In the case of a public lighting post 4, the latter is generally provided with an electrical connection hatch 40 (FIGS. 1 and 2). It is intended to secure a power supply box 32 to the bright decor 3 and more particularly to its mount 30. The housing 32 contains all the electrical and electronic components necessary for the operation of the light elements 31. The connection between the housing 32 and the hatch electrical connection 40 is made simply by means of an electrical cord 41 (FIG. 2).

Claims (10)

REVENDICATIONS1. Device for fixing a luminous decoration (3) on a pole (4), comprising a support (2) on which is fixed said luminous decoration, said support being provided with at least one flange (22, 23, 24) configured for gripping said post and holding said support against said post, characterized in that said support (2) is longitudinal and configured to be positioned along said post and rest on the ground (S) so that the weight of said decoration is taken up by said floor. 2. Device according to claim 1, wherein the support (2) consists of at least two vertical uprights (2a, 2b) configured to be positioned against the pole (4), the lower end of said uprights bearing on the floor (S) and the upper end of said uprights being provided with fixing means (20a, 20b) of the luminous decoration (3). 3. Device according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the support (2) is provided with a plurality of flanges (22, 23, 24) each formed by a fixed portion (22a, 23a, 24a) fixed to the support (2) and a movable part (22b, 23b, 24b) articulated to said fixed part by a hinge (22c, 23c, 24c) of vertical axis, said fixed and movable parts comprising complementary connecting means for locking said parts together and enclose the pole (4). 9. Device according to claim 8, wherein the movable parts (22b, 23b, 24b) are connected to each other by a vertical rod (25) arranged to be positioned against the pole (4) when the fixed parts (22a , 23a, 24a) and mobile (22b, 23b, 24b) are locked, the lower end of said rod being accessible and manipulable from a height less than or equal to 2 m from the ground (S). 10. Device according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the pole (4) is a public lighting pole provided with an electrical connection door (40), a power supply box (32) being integral with the decor light (3), an electrical cord (41) for connecting said housing to said trapdoor.
