Le procédé de gestion d'un système de véhicule automobile comprenant une batterie (1) configurée pour réaliser une étape d'alimentation (E1) d'un circuit électrique (2) en vue d'accomplir une action déterminée sur un actionneur (3) du système, comprend une étape de diagnostic (E2) de l'état de la batterie (1) de façon à déterminer à l'avance si l'état de santé de la batterie (1) est suffisant pour réaliser l'étape d'alimentation (E1) en vue d'accomplir ladite action déterminée.
