Abstract

The apparatus has a steam base (1) comprising a steam flow generating device to generate steam flow. The steam flow generating device is connected by a conduit or flexible pipe to a steam brush, and a hole is utilized for transmission of steam. The base has an ironing surface or a rectangular curtain (50) against which a garment ironing board is pressed during use of the steam brush. The ironing surface is able to be folded or rolled up on itself.
